Pastor  Ian Solodky |
Ian Solodky Grew up in Manheim Township and provides his experiences, convictions, and the word of Christ. Ian’sministry at Mt. Zion began in 2022 when he was appointed as the Pastor. Before his ministry at Mt. Zion Ian was involved in a food ministry at Long Memorial United Methodist Church in NeffsVille. Ian’s passion is to spread the word of Christ and help those who are in need. |
Secretary Jen |
Jennifer is originally from western Pennsylvania. She met her husband while they were both freshman at Penn State University. After graduating in microbiology she moved to the Lancaster county area and worked as a microbiology medical technologist at a local hospital for six years. She has been attending Mt. Zion with her husband, who has been a lifelong attender, since 2001 and they both became members in December 2002. In addition to being the secretary at Mt. Zion, Jen is also a stay-at-home mom to two young boys. Along with spending time with her family she likes hiking, knitting, and reading. |
Music Director  Joe |
Joe Liptock Music Director/Worship Leader Mt Zion’s Music Director/Worship Leader is a lifelong musician. Joe started taking piano lessons in second grade with the encouragement of his grandfather and parents. After five years of piano lessons, Joe studied drums for three years and also took voice lessons for three years. Joe has been a “professional” musician since the age of 15! He has shared the stage over the years with Dizzy Gillespie, The Platters, Porter Wagoner, Bill Anderson, Waylon Jennings and others. In 2010 Joe co-produced and wrote the title song for the CD “We Can Shine”. Proceeds from cd sales helped an orphanage rebuild in Haiti following the massive earthquake. |
Joe has been involved with church music since 1995. In 2005, Joe became music director at God’s Love Lutheran Church in Newtown, Pa for their Contemporary Service. He directed the praise band “Rejoice!” which consisted of sixteen vocalists and musicians. Rejoice! Did many community outreach concerts during Joe’s tenure. In 2009, Joe started playing keyboards and singing for the worship team at Hopewell Christian Fellowship in Elverson, Pa. Joe left in May of 2014 to become our music director at Mt Zion. Joe is married to our Youth Director, Donna. They have three children Joseph, Amanda, and Alyce (Ally). In his spare time Joe enjoys playing golf, working in the yard and watching Ally play softball. |

Ortega Elizabeth grew up attending church at Mt. Zion along with her family. Some of her favorite memories were made during Vacation Bible school, her mission's trip to Ohio, and the many youth group events she participated in. This led her to take more leadership with our children's department to create similar memories for other children. Elizabeth started as an employee with the Youth Group and then moved into her current role for the children's department. She also coordinates and leads Vacation Bible School. Elizabeth met her husband here at Mt Zion in youth group back in 2015 and just recently got married in 2022. Teaching has been a passion of hers since elementary school so in May of 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Special Education. |
She is currently working towards her master's degree at Millersville University in ESL. Elizabeth is currently employed with the Lancaster Lebanon IU13 as an Autistic Support teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, roasting marshmallows over a bonfire and snuggling with her dog. |
